Frequently asked questions

There is no official national price, because dental fees in Australia are not regulated and each practice sets its own. As a government benchmark, the Department of Veterans' Affairs schedule effective 1 July 2026 pays a general dentist $522.55 for a single-canal front tooth, $769.40 for a two-canal premolar and $1,016.25 for a three-canal molar. Private practices charge above those rates, and a crown afterwards is extra.
